Growth Partners is the fifth and final business to be confirmed as a headline sponsor for the upcoming Birmingham Business Excellence Awards.
The business, who through their SMART Employment business model strive to make working environments happier and healthier, is joining HSBC UK, The Lord’s Taverners, adi Group and ITV.
Growth Partners strive to take the strain off non-profit making tasks such as payroll and pensions by putting in place a team of experts to handle it – saving both time and money.
They also believe in the investment in employees and their online hub provides access to wellbeing & fitness classes, online GPs, emotional counsellors and more than 6,000 discounts in order to boost workplace morale.
All of this is led by the company’s CEO Scott Read who is also the driving force behind their headline sponsorship.
“Birmingham is home to a stellar community of hardworking entrepreneurs and we are very much looking forward to supporting local talent,” he said.
“As a business, we have recently introduced the SMART Employment network into the Birmingham business arena that focuses on the development and growth of ambitious companies.
“Encouraged by the reception our business model has had here in Birmingham, we are proud to show our support in turn to the awards by mirroring the warm welcome we have received.”
Something that makes these business awards extra special is the bringing together of likeminded businesspeople who are not only attending to enjoy their own achievements but relish in those of others.
Encouraging other businesses in this way and ‘stepping out of your own company’s bubble’ is something Mr Read sees great benefit in doing.
“With the general busy-ness of running a business, sometimes it can feel difficult to take the time to stop and reflect on milestones achieved,” he added.
“The awards are a great opportunity to do this. To pause and congratulate the hard work of your peers and step out of your own company’s bubble to see what’s going on in the wider business category.
“The categories for this year are particularly broad and well-rounded, giving fantastic chances to the full remit of local businesses that are very much deserving of the recognition that award ceremonies such as this make possible.”
The Birmingham Business Excellence Awards will take place on Thursday 7 November at the ICC where guests will enjoy a Champagne reception, three course dinner and entertainment from The Voice stars Belle Voci.
