In light of the arrival of the Birmingham Business Excellence Awards – which takes place on Thursday 7 November at The ICC – a number of local names have been stepping forwards to extend their support.

The latest to do so is award-winning Graypaul Birmingham – the official Ferrari and Maserati dealer for the West Midlands.

The business who has previously been named the Global Aftersales Ferrari Dealer of the Year, is throwing its weight behind the Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award which takes a look at the individuals driving some of the most innovative and successful businesses in Birmingham.

Stuart Hood, Managing Director at Graypaul explained more about their involvement.

“Our decision to sponsor this award stems from the recognition that many of our VIP and most loyal clients are now established businesspeople who still class themselves as entrepreneurs,” he said.

“We hope and look forward to many of the nominees in this category being our future clients and being tomorrows Ferrari and Maserati owners.

“We are always eager to see what is happening next in the world of commerce and discover the talent of tomorrow. These awards are a wonderful celebration of the city's diverse and dynamic business community and the Entrepreneur of the Year category reflects the driving force behind this.”

For Graypaul Birmingham, the selling and servicing of Ferraris and Maseratis isn’t a job it’s a passion. But their involvement with the community goes far beyond pairing their clients with their dream car as Mr Hood was eager to detail.

“Graypaul Birmingham regularly supports local and national communities by working closely in engaging with business partnerships, affinity partners and charity groups,” he added.

“We are always striving to do something to help others and make a worthwhile contribution to the community, such involvements include a donation, resources, and also setting up long-term projects supporting a certain issue that is affecting people in the area.

“Our team has been involved in a number of long-term community projects including renovating a garden, to raising over £12,500 by the staff completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge and supporting local schools.

“One particular foundation Graypaul Birmingham support is the Mat Davies Foundation. In 2018, the dealership received the Special Recognition Award for supporting the foundation over many years and fundraising over £45,000.”

Entries for the Birmingham Business Excellence Awards will be closing on Friday 26 July which means there is limited time to nominate yourself or on behalf of a businessperson you know.
