Anticipation can be felt across the city as businesses gear up for the Birmingham Business Excellence Awards.
On Thursday 7 November hundreds of guests, including award finalists and sponsors, will gather at The ICC to recognise regional business achievement.
With just a few short weeks to go, John Pigott, a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management, has now stepped forwards in support of the occasion. His business is proudly backing the Sustainability Award – just one of the 14 categories to be presented on the night.
Working in the financial services for more than 35 years, John places great emphasis on maintaining a long-term relationship with his clients to provide them with a source of trusted advice as their financial needs evolve over the years.
He offers a holistic approach to wealth management with services including investment planning, inheritance tax, exit planning for business owners and intergenerational advice regularly meeting with clients to check financial goals and objectives are on track.
John sees great value in the sponsorship of this particular category: “I am thrilled to be sponsoring the Sustainability Award at this year’s Birmingham Business Excellence Awards,” he said.
“The category and the finalists within it are extremely important to today’s environment and what they stand for is something I am personally proud to get behind.”
John’s sponsorship comes at a time of growth for the business and the awards evening presents a unique opportunity to expand his clientele. He explained: “I am looking to grow it over the next couple of years.”
“I have the capacity to take on new clients and I see the business community in Birmingham particularly as a great place to continue my existing relationships but forge new and lasting connections going forward.
“With many inspiring people in one room, all with the same ambitions to network and build their brands, I see this as a valuable opportunity that I can only encourage others to take advantage of in the future too.”
