This week saw one of the city’s most luxurious hotels play host to a networking event like no other ahead of this year’s Birmingham Business Excellence Awards.
Bringing together nominees, sponsors and a number of the region’s most successful business personalities, a champagne and canapes evening took place at the hotel giving people the chance to mingle ahead of next month’s main event.
Ryan Doyle is the Sales Manager at Park Regis Birmingham and explained why the hotel is the perfect venue for an event such as this.
“We are thrilled to have hosted the networking event for the Birmingham Business,” he said.
“We held this exciting event in our new Level 16 Sky Loft, a luxurious and unique venue in the city centre that boasts 360° views across Birmingham from our floor-to-ceiling windows. The deluxe conference and events space were incorporated last year to huge acclaim and is already proving to be the ideal backdrop for conferences and exhibitions, as well as special occasions, Christmas parties and celebrations.”
By holding this event Park Regis join a long list of sponsors who are showing their support for this year’s awards including ITV, adi Group and HSBC.
Ryan went on to say why they made the decision to support the Birmingham Business Excellence Awards.
“The Birmingham Business Excellence Awards celebrates the very best and innovative companies and their successes. As a premium city centre hotel that works closely with the growing corporate and blue-chip sector for their events, we are closely aligned with prominent and up-and-coming brands. These awards fits perfectly with our vision for excellence and superior customer service.”
With 14 awards on offer the night gives the chance for companies of all sizes and from a number of sectors to be recognise.
Ryan mentioned why it is important to recognise the local business community in this way.
“The Birmingham Business Excellence Awards are the ideal platform from which to highlight the innovative work that the best companies across a wide range of sectors in the region undertake every day,” he said.
“The awards showcase accomplishments and bring together businesses. They aren’t just about enhancing the reputation of a single winner, however; they are about celebrating the hard-working staff and boosting their achievements.”
The Birmingham Business Excellence Awards take place on Thursday 7 November at the ICC.
